3. Teddy Bridgewater replicates his Week 1 performance

The Broncos have been marred at the quarterback position after they won Super Bowl 50. Draft picks never panned out like they have hoped, while veteran signings and trade acquisitions failed to help the Broncos offense take the leap it so desperately needed to contend in the tough AFC West. It may be early, but Denver appears to have found their answer at quarterback in Teddy Bridgewater.

If last year proved anything, it is that the Broncos were done in due to turnovers at the quarterback position. Bridgewater is a breath of fresh air for Denver, as he held onto the football in Week 1. Despite being sacked twice in the game, Bridgewater did not fumble the ball on impact or force a pass when sensing defensive pressure. Instead, he threw 28 completions for 264 yards and two touchdowns on 36 attempts. This came against a Giants defense that was supposed to make things difficult for the Bridgewater-led offense, but it never came to fruition for them.

Now facing the Jaguars, Bridgewater can really do some damage against them. Not only that, but if things go sour at the line of scrimmage in terms of pass protection, he has shown that he can evade the pressure, find the open man or throw the ball away instead of taking a loss of yardage or turning the ball over.

All Bridgewater needs to do is perform like he did in Week 1, and the Broncos will be earning their second win of the season.
