1. Chiefs are getting healthy

While Baltimore can’t seem to break the injury bug, the Chiefs are getting more and more healthy by the day.

Kansas City played the Browns without Pro Bowl safety Tyrann Mathieu and defensive end Frank Clark. Mathieu has been cleared from COVID-19 protocols with a week to get his body right after missing Week 1. Clark was held out as a precaution and should be a full go against the Ravens.

Having those two key defenders back just in time to face Lamar Jackson and company is a huge boost. Mathieu is one of the most instinctual defenders in the league and his ability to sniff things out will make a difference. Clark’s presence will undoubtedly strengthen KC’s run defense just as they’re set to face a strong rushing attack.

The rest of the team is looking strong as well. Offensive lineman Austin Blythe and defensive tackle Khalen Saunders practiced on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday. In fact, every player currently on the Chiefs injury list was able to take part in Thursday’s practice.

When it comes to injuries, the Chiefs and Ravens are heading in opposite directions.
