David Njoku, Cleveland Browns

Rostered: 1.8%

David Njoku had three receptions for 76 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs. His five targets were tied with Jarvis Landry and Anthony Schwartz for the team lead, and fellow tight end Austin Hooper was targeted three times.

Njoku’s talent has been apparent, since the Browns selected him in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. However, he has been off the fantasy radar for the past two years. Last season, he had 213 receiving yards across 13 games.

For now, he should only be added in deeper leagues, but he carries upside.

Ryan Griffin, New York Jets

Rostered: 0.0%

This sleeper is exclusively for deeper leagues. Right now, Ryan Griffin is rostered in 0.0% of leagues!

Griffin is an experienced veteran; he is entering his ninth season in the NFL. In that span, he has never been a great fantasy option. His career-high in receiving yards came back in 2016, when he had 442 yards with the Houston Texans. Furthermore, he has not recorded a touchdown in two of out his past three seasons.

Surprisingly, rookie quarterback Zach Wilson targeted Griffin six times, which is an encouraging sign. It is worth noting tight end Tyler Kroft was also targeted five times.

Griffin will continue to be off the fantasy radar in most leagues, but his ownership should certainly be higher than zero.
