How to watch the Muhammad Ali documentary, part 2, on PBS.
Now that you’ve gotten the taste for the first episode of the four-part Ken Burns documentary, Muhammad Ali, we’re sure you don’t want to miss the other three parts. The film is broken up by different periods of Ali’s life, with episode one (round one as they are calling it) centered on the years 1942-1964.
Part two of the documentary will air on Monday, Sept. 20 at 8/7c and will feature the next stage of Ali’s life.
According to PBS, part two is aptly named Round Two: What’s My Name? (1964-1970) and is described as the following:
“Cassius Clay joins the Nation of Islam and adopts the name Muhammad Ali. For three years, Ali dominates the heavyweight ranks but in 1967, he refuses induction into the U.S. Army and becomes one of the most reviled men in America. Ali is stripped of his title, convicted of draft evasion and forced into exile. In 1970, he triumphantly returns to the ring, but it’s clear that he has lost a step.”
