Patrick Mahomes doesn’t hold back in praising Lamar Jackson
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes made it clear he’s a huge fans of how Lamar Jackson has improved in the passing game for the Ravens.
Time and time again, haters of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson try to bring the signal-caller down by saying he’s not a good passer. Seriously? While Jackson does have some insane wheels, he’s really improved when it comes to throwing the pigskin all over the field.
Need further proof of how good he’s become? Just ask Patrick Mahomes about that. Mahomes, getting ready to lead the Chiefs against the Ravens on Sunday night, gave Jackson an outstanding amount of praise ahead of their Week 2 showdown.
Patrick Mahomes knows how dangerous Lamar Jackson is on the gridiron
Indeed, Mahomes let the world know just how strong of a player he thinks Jackson is with the ball in his hands with his latest quote. This shouldn’t come as a big shock, as Mahomes has shown Jackson plenty of love in recent years.
Jackson received plenty of hate following the Week 1 loss to the Raiders, as turnovers down the stretch opened the door for Las Vegas to sneak away with a thrilling victory. In that loss, though, Jackson went on to throw for 235 yards and one touchdown, while adding 86 rushing yards.
Yes, Jackson is always a threat to hurt you with his incredible speed, but the fact of the matter is that he’s really stepped his game up in the aerial attack as well. Guys like Marquise Brown and Mark Andrews know all about that.
Come Sunday, Mahomes knows that the Kansas City defensive will have its hands full trying to slow Jackson down. This should be quite the contest for Sunday Night Football.
