Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel trolled Seattle Seahawks fans with a cruel joke about crowd noise after the Titans’ narrow overtime win.

Aside from leading his franchise into consistent playoff contention, Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel is known for his brash humor. Vrabel has become famous for his bitter rivalry with arch nemesis Tom Brady, as well as his hilarious conversation with Titans offensive tackle Taylor Lewan about what he’d give for a Lombardi.

It’s no surprise that Vrabel brought that same energy when a reporter asked him about the famed crowd noise at Lumen Field.

“At the beginning or end?” Vrabel joked, referring to the stunned silence Seattle fans sat in as they watched their Seahawks lose to the Titans in overtime at 33-30.

Seahawks fans once proudly upheld the Guinness World Record for loudest stadium, a battle they’ve ultimately lost to the Chiefs Kingdom at Arrowhead.

Still, 12s enjoy having their crowd noise amplified by the unique design at Lumen Field.

“The way the roof is angled, and the way the bowl captures all the sound that goes backwards and focuses it back towards the center of the stadium, you’re pretty much going to get the maximum effect right at the players,” explained Paul Greisemer, the stadium’s architectural designer.

The amplified noise was a major factor in the game, blasting over the broadcast as fans roared when the Titans offense took the field. Still, the noise couldn’t distract Derrick Henry from accumulating 185 rushing yards and three touchdowns, nor could it stop Ryan Tannehill from slightly outpacing Russell Wilson in passing yards with 347.

However, it was Randy Bullock who delivered the win, making four out of five field goals, including the 36-yard game-winner in overtime.

“Randy Bullock delivers!” screamed the announcer over the suddenly silent crowd after the Titans took the final lead.

“Just an incredible win on the road in a raucous atmosphere for the Tennessee Titans.”

A raucous atmosphere that the NFL’s ultimate troll took to Twitter as his team takes home their first win of the season.
