Fantasy Football 2021, Week 3 rankings: Who to start and sit
Start
Sterling Shepard, NYG, vs. ATL
Shepard is the number one option in New York and it feels to be proven week after week now. The addition of Kenny Golladay has helped massively in Shepard no longer being the guy they plan for, allowing him to get open and be the guy that Daniel Jones needs from time to time. He’s a must-start flex play with WR2 appeal this week.
Marquise Brown, BAL, @ DET
“Hollywood” has shown in the first two weeks of the season that he is everything Baltimore hoped he would be when they drafted him a few seasons ago. Now fully healthy, Brown is the best option on the entire Baltimore offense and should feast against the Detroit Lions this week.
Rondale Moore, ARI, @ JAX
Moore is special. And much like the rest of the Arizona Cardinals offense, he seems to be a must-start week in and week out now. After a breakout game last week, Moore is only going to play more and more with his role getting bigger as the weeks go on. Start him and enjoy.
Sit
Mike Evans, TB, @ LAR
Evans scored two touchdowns this past week and is always a threat to do that. He’s felt like a must-start his entire career and probably still is, but Jalen Ramsey being the one to cover him makes us feel wary of his prospects this week. Tampa Bay has so many options that Evans catching only a few balls wouldn’t surprise us.
Brandin Cooks, HOU, vs. CAR
Cooks has shown that he still can play at a high level no matter who is at the helm. His touchdown this past week came from Davis Mills but that does not give us the confidence to start him on a short week. Sit Cooks in what should be a what-and-see approach.
Will Fuller, MIA, @ LV
All signs point to Fuller being back this week after having to leave for personal reasons in Week 2. Fuller was one of the best wide receivers in football last year before his suspension and we expect him to show everyone that he can still play at the top level. However, unless Tua Tagovailoa is back in the mix, he has to be sat for the time being.
