Start

Tyler Higbee, LAR, vs. TB

It was a major dud for Higbee last week, who only brought in one catch while watching the rest of his team have a solid time. Fortunately for him, TE’s are not the deepest position and we are able to look past that in an effort to find a stud this week. Higbee is going to be counted on in this game against the Bucs that very well could be a shootout of epic proportions.

Jared Cook, LAC, @ KC

Cook has looked pretty solid in his first two weeks with the Chargers but nothing that has made fantasy owners jump for joy. We expect him to have to play a major role in the game against the Chiefs this week as his outing could decide whether or not the Chargers are in it all game long. He’s worth the start here.

Sit

Cole Kmet, CHI, @ CLE

Kmet got all of our hopes up with an excellent showing in Week 1, proving that he was the starter moving forward. The sad reality is, however, that he only was able to contribute one catch last week and that’s not good enough. With quarterback in question for Week 3 in Chicago, it’s best to leave Kmet on the bench if you have other options. Justin Fields could be the answer for him long-term.

Gerald Everett, SEA, @ MIN

There are not enough balls to go around in Seattle to warrant a weekly start for Everett. While a matchup with the Minnesota Vikings can be a juicy one for all offensive players, we can’t fully trust Everett with his target share being so low right now in the eyes of Russell Wilson. If you are desperate, he could be a good dart throw but is safer left on the waiver wire or bench.

Best of luck in your Week 3 matchups this week.
