1. The Seahawks defense will get their first interception of the year

While the Seahawks offense is already humming along with two 25-plus games, the Seahawks defense is already playing into old narratives.

Regrettably, the Seahawks defense is “the big concern” after their Week 2 loss. Seattle’s defense conceded 21 points in the second half, costing the Seahawks the game after a comfortable first-half lead.

It’s an uncomfortable sight after last season, when the Seahawks defense was bolstered at the end with Carlos Dunlap, Jamal Adams and D.J. Reed. Last week, all three were on the field when the team lost the game.

However, that could easily turn around in Week 3 when the Seahawks defense lands their first interception of the season.

Coming off of an unnecessary loss, the defense will be pressured to make plays and get turnovers in Week 3, although it won’t be easy: Kirk Cousins is no interception-prone rookie.

Cousins hasn’t thrown an interception yet this year, but he did throw 13 last season, one of them being in their game against Seattle.

The Seahawks defense has already forced two fumbles this year, so a forced interception or tipped pass is not out of reach for the Hawks. It will be a challenge, but the Seahawks are likely intent on avoiding the early pitfalls of last season.
