2. Jameis Winston throws three interceptions

After throwing five touchdowns against the Packers defense, Winston fell back down to Earth against the Panthers’ impressive young defense. On the day, Winston completed 11-of-22 pass attempts for 111 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions. It certainly did not help that the former first-overall pick was sacked four times by Carolina.

While the Panthers defense made life hell for Winston, he will not have much fun against Bill Belichick’s defense in New England. Facing the Jets, the Patriots defense picked off rookie Zach Wilson four times and limited him to 210 yards through the air.

Yes, the Patriots does present itself as a tough matchup for Winston, he will need to showcase the skills he put on the field in the season-opener to help keep them in the game. Given that there were glimpses of his Tampa Bay Buccaneers days for Winston against the Panthers, and the fact that the Patriots secondary is ridiculously stingy, you can book the quarterback throwing three interceptions on Sunday.
