1. Taysom Hill gets some throws in if Jameis Winston struggles

Even though Winston was named the opening week starter for the Saints by head coach Sean Payton, Taysom Hill is still looming on the sidelines. If Payton has showed us anything throughout his career, it is that he loves to implement Hill into his offensive game plan, whether it is running the ball or running a route. But could we see Hill attempt some throws in the pocket?

That could very well be the case if Winston were to have a repeat performance like he did against Carolina. With the NFC South looking that much tougher with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Panthers undefeated thus far, Payton could very well be tempted to have Hill get some throws in against New England’s defense.

Let’s not forget that Hill received the starting job last year when Drew Brees went down with injury. Hill completed 72.4-percent of his passes for 928 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions, while earning a 3-1 record as starting quarterback.

If Taysom Hill were to throw some passes against the Patriots on Sunday, we would not be shocked.
