2. A’ja Wilson

After losing to the Storm in the Finals last season, the 2020 MVP A’ja Wilson has her eyes set on returning to the NBA Finals and winning it all this year. The Las Vegas Aces were without one half of their star frontcourt duo with Liz Cambage opting out of the bubble but on the heels of Wilson pushed through and fell just short of the top.

Like Stewart, Wilson has had a lot of success early on in her career, including leading this year’s Olympic team in scoring alongside Brittney Griner.

On the heels of Wilson’s 18.3 points, nine boards and three assists a game, the Aces come into the playoffs as the second seed, meaning they won’t have to play until the semi-finals and will likely be more rested than whoever they face.

Wilson’s hungry and determined to get the Aces over the hump. It should be a slightly easier workload for the South Carolina legend as she’ll have Cambage to go to battle with but expect A’ja to deliver timely buckets at the rim in crunch situations.
