Week 4 college football picks against the spread: How to bet every Top 25 game
Week 4 College Football Picks Against the Spread: No. 5-1
Colorado State at 5 Iowa (-23.5) – Under 44.0
Taking this Iowa team as anything over a 20-point favorite is less than comforting as their offense is not explosive and they win by grinding teams down. However, Colorado State is not a good football team, so the Hawkeyes winning something like 27-0 seems very much in the cards.
West Virginia (+17.0) at 4 Oklahoma – Over 56.0
There is a stark difference between West Virginia on the road and playing in Morgantown. So this game being in Norman certainly lends to the belief that Oklahoma is going to win, as they should. But the Mountaineers are good on both sides of the ball and the Sooners have done nothing to warrant being 17-point favorites against a good team.
Arizona at 3 Oregon (-28.5) – Under 59.0
Arizona might be the worst team in the Pac-12 and, more importantly, it might not even be close. Oregon should have a talent advantage at virtually every spot and will run away with this one. That being said, I doubt they can get to 50 points themselves, which is what it might take for this over to hit.
2 Georgia (-35.0) at Vanderbilt – Over 53.0
Georgia failed to cover last week even though they put up 40 points on South Carolina. The line is bigger this week but Vanderbilt is also a worse team. With JT Daniels getting another week removed from his injury, the Bulldogs are going to thrash the Commodores in Nashville and keep making a case that they should be the No. 1-ranked team in college football.
Southern Miss at 1 Alabama (-45.5) – Over 58.0
Do you think Nick Saban might’ve been lighting a fire all week under Alabama after they just escaped Florida? This is going to be an absolute bloodbath in Tuscaloosa and I can’t imagine them looking to take their foot off the gas at any point. They could shut out Southern Miss and the over still might hit.
