6. Tim Patrick, Denver Broncos

Tim Patrick has benefited from one, the injury of teammate Jerry Jeudy, and two, Teddy Bridgewater’s continued downfield passing attack. He’s locked in as Denver’s WR2 behind Courtland Sutton. He’s caught seven-of-eight targets for 76 yards and two touchdowns.

Patrick is and has been a touchdown threat for the Broncos, seemingly able to get open near the end zone in every game. I expect that consistency to remain this week against a bad Jets team, where Patrick will be a solid start anywhere he’s available.

5. Quintez Cephus, Detroit Lions

Aside from tight end (wide receiver, really) T.J. Hockenson, Quintez Cephus is one of Jared Goff’s only weapons. While he’s looked decent for the Lions thus far, it’s the availability and sheer need for bodies in this receiving corps that keeps him relevant.

Cephus has caught seven-of-13 targets for 75 yards and two touchdowns thus far. While he’s not likely to light up the box score, I like that floor for Cephus, who’s averaging 6.5 targets a game. He’s a cheap, safe-floor option this week in fantasy.
