4. Arizona Cardinals at Jacksonville Jaguars

The Cardinals’ defense looked like it was in a good spot against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2. Not so much, as a high-scoring first half led to allowing 27 offensive points with one sack and no takeaways. But Week 3 is a nice rebound opportunity.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence threw three interceptions in Week 1, then he followed that with two interceptions in Week 2. In Week 2 against the Denver Broncos, the Jaguars combined the rookie signal caller’s two picks with just 13 points.

Lawrence is throwing the ball downfield with abandon, and often off-target based on all metrics. A 1 p.m. ET kickoff for the traveling Cardinals invites fatigue and some points allowed, but that only keeps this defense from being higher on this list.

3. Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts

The Titans are not a good defense in any terms.  But they are in too good a spot to ignore in Week 3.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Carson Wentz is dealing with two sprained ankles. It’s trending toward he won’t be able to go against the Titans on Sunday…what’s that they say about “if you have two quarterbacks you don’t have one?” The Colts may go to a college-esque rotation in Wentz’s place, with Jacob Eason and Brett Hundley as the principles.

The Titans’ defense is certainly available in your fantasy league. Even if Wentz happens to play, this unit is a top-end streamer for Week 3.
