2021 NFL power rankings, Week 4: Cardinals rolling, Chiefs reeling
Kevin Stefanski’s club hosted the Chicago Bears looking to make it two wins in a row after a Week 1 loss. And Cleveland’s much-maligned defense took advantage of rookie Justin Fields to the tune of nine sacks – exactly half of those (4.5) by end Myles Garrett.
The Cleveland offense rolled up 215 yards rushing and 418 total. Baker Mayfield was sacked five times but still threw for 246 yards and a score. The Browns played turnover-free football.
A year ago, John Gruden’s team won its first two games but still finished 8-8. They hosted the Dolphins for the second straight year and fell behind, 14-0, in the first quarter. Derek Carr overcame an early interception and threw for 386 yards and a pair of scores.
Las Vegas’ offense rolled up 497 total yards but Miami was able to force overtime. Daniel Carlson’s 22-yard boot in the extra session made the Raiders 3-0 for the first time since 2002.
Off a shutout of the rival Dolphins at Miami, Sean McDermott’s squad hosted the Washington Football Team. The Bills opened up a 21-0 second-quarter lead, watched Washington pull within seven points and then pulled away for a 22-point win.
Quarterback Josh Allen – who wasn’t sacked – threw for 358 yards and four touchdown and also ran for another score. The defending AFC East champions rolled up 481 yards and played turnover-free football.
