If you’ve ever dreamed about being invited to ride on Golden State Warriors’ Klay Thompson’s boat, there are three rules that you must be able to follow.

Now that Golden State Warriors fans know when to expect to see Klay Thompson back on the court, there’s only one thing that they need to worry about when it comes to him. It doesn’t have anything to do with how he’ll perform on the court, but instead if they’re able to meet the prerequisites to ride on his boat.

During the Warriors’ media day on Monday, Captain Klay outlined what it would take to receive an elusive invite to join his crew.

The criteria to ride on Golden State Warriors’ Klay Thompson’s boat

During the offseason, Thompson has been going live on Instagram from his boat. To even be considered for a chance to get to join his adventures on the water, there’s three questions that he must first know the answer to.

If you can answer ‘yes’ to all three of those, you’re in. Don’t let Klay fool you, though. He’s been through some growing pains as the Captain of his own boat.

If Thompson parked his boat in your spot prior to him heading to work for Golden State, it’d actually be an honor. Nevertheless, coach Mike Brown helped Klay get his own spot.

Even if you follow all of Thompson’s rules, there’s still not a high probability that you’ll actually get to ride on his boat.

It’s a huge honor that not even his Splash Bro Stephen Curry has gotten. If Klay did choose a couple of fans to join him on a ride to Chase Center before a game, that would be a memorable Instagram Live moment.
