Tight end

Logan Thomas: Washington Football Team vs. Atlanta Falcons ($5,800)

When it comes to fantasy tight ends, the top four command $6,500 or more, then there’s the secondary tier of players for a decent price.

Because you’ve got Stafford and Kupp, you’ll have to sacrifice in other areas, which puts Logan Thomas as the best value pick for this tier.

He’s not Travis Kelce (no one is; Kelce’s worth $8,200 this week), but Thomas offers another qualified player in an optimized matchup.

Thomas has gotten 10 points in two of his three games, and his third was only seven, making him a relatively safe bet that will get you some value at a low cost. Thomas commands targets every game, co-leading the reception count with Terry McLaurin in Week 3.

Thomas also has a solid connection with Taylor Heinicke, and as Kelce has proven on his team, having a safe tight end option makes a world of difference for an offense.

Thomas has also caught at least one touchdown in two of his last three games, and against the Falcons, this team is going to need to pass. That all makes Thomas an excellent pickup in your lineup.
