Odell Beckham Jr.: Cleveland Browns vs. Minnesota Vikings ($6,600)

Ready for OBJ to finally pop off? He is too, which is why he got to work last week with five receptions for 77 yards. It wasn’t even all that great for Beckham considering his nine total targets, but it’s a reassuring game considering his first on-field action since his 2020 ACL tear.

Beckham has been dealing with a shoulder issue, but it likely won’t be a hindrance in Week 4 against the Vikings. This Browns team has been solid in 2021, and Beckham’s return looks to fill the hole Jarvis Landry’s IR stint has left on the wide receiver corps.

The Vikings do have a top-ranked passing defense, but if there’s anyone who can matchup against it, it’s Odell.

Detroit Lions vs. Chicago Bears ($4,100)

The trick with picking a fantasy defense is to optimize the matchup like no other, and if you’ve scrolled the defenses from bottom to top, you’ll notice that the Lions defense is the first defense that could actually win some serious points this week.

Why? Well, if Chicago is still in quarterback purgatory with Matt Nagy, this is a defense that can rack up sacks on either a stymied Justin Fields or a hobbling Andy Dalton. Either way, it’s unlikely the Bears will score heavily on this defense.

Currently, the Bears are ranked dead last in the NFL in offensive ranking and passing ranking. This is less about how good the Lions are, and more about how incompetent the Bears are. Save here and, for once, bet on the Lions to win.
