2. Rashan Gary will get two sacks

The Packers are still searching for an edge player to emerge as their clear-cut No. 1 pass rusher, but Gary is starting to transition his potential to production on the outside. This could be a breakout party for the former first-round draft pick.

The Steelers will work hard to get the ball out of Roethlsiberger’s hands quickly in this game. Big Ben is already beat up and he’s just a hit or two away from a spell on the sidelines. That means the Packers will need to blitz him if they want to get to the veteran quarterback.

Gary is at his best when he’s permitted to crash down off the edge with little or no thought to what might be happening behind him. That makes him a little bit of a one-dimensional linebacker, but it also raises his value as an edge rusher.

His pressure on Roethlisberger will be crucial for Green Bay’s desires to get out to an early lead in the first quarter of this matchup. Don’t be surprised if Gary turns one of his sacks into a forced fumble that gives his offense a short field.
