4. Zach Ertz becomes key in win

Not everyone has a high-caliber tight end, but the Eagles are lucky enough to have two of them. With Goedert and Ertz functioning as Philadelphia’s top receivers, Hurts should be able to produce more in a game focused on the run and shorter passes.

While DeVonta Smith has yet to break out this season, the Eagles will need to rely on their sturdy tight ends, and longtime Eagle Zach Ertz has proven year after year that he is integral to this Eagles offense.

Now in his ninth year with the team, Ertz has stood the test of time and is set to make history within the franchise. With four receptions for 53 yards against the Cowboys, Ertz is now just 22 yards shy of becoming the Eagles tight end with the most receiving yards in franchise history.

Currently ranking 12th in NFL history, Ertz just needs 24 more yards to enter the top ten for tight end receiving yards. As it stands, he currently has 568 career yards.

When it comes to breaking records, NFL quarterbacks like to look out for their players with looming milestones, so Ertz is likely to get a lot of looks and score big versus the Chiefs.
