Bold Prediction 3: Ravens put up 30+ points on offense

The Baltimore Ravens offense has been a confusing one to start the season. Justin Tucker needed a record kick and Lamar Jackson needed to convert a 4th and 19 in order to beat the Detroit Lions. It was a poor performance by the Ravens offense as a whole coming off the awesome performance they had against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Jackson as a whole has been pretty inconsistent the last two seasons. The Ravens defense had trouble getting the Lions off the field, and that led to them only having four possessions in the second half. They left with three field goals, so the Ravens were moving the ball. They just couldn’t put it in the end zone against this Lions defense.

This week, the Ravens take on the Denver Broncos. On paper, it looks like a tough matchup. The Broncos are feeling themselves after a 3-0 start. They are second in the league in yards allowed. It looks like a bad matchup, right? Well, the Broncos faced the Giants, Jaguars, and Jets to start the season. These aren’t exactly the late 80’s 49ers were talking about here.

Baltimore will hit the Broncos early and often. Their dynamic offense led by a rushing quarterback will prove too much for them to handle, and the Ravens will once again score 30 points on offense. It will be a gut punch to this Broncos defense, and they will have to go back to the drawing board.
