Bold Prediction 5: Matt Ryan turns back the clock… finally

Speaking of taking one last chance on a guy, Matt Ryan has not looked like the superstar quarterback he once was. The Atlanta Falcons have a lot of problems to fix, but they thought they had the quarterback position on lock. Now, that’s not so clear.

Ryan was not the disaster he was the first two weeks of the season, so hopefully we are seeing signs of improvement in Arthur Smith’s offense. This week, he’s taking on the Washington Football Team. They just got destroyed on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. This great Washington defense that led things last season just isn’t there this year.

Washington is allowing north of 30 points per game. They are one of five teams in that category. The Falcons really need a big week from some of its stars. Kyle Pitts has fantasy owners very worried right now. Mike Davis hasn’t been able to find the endzone with his team usually losing. Calvin Ridley has been fine, but Cordarrelle Patterson has been the team’s best offensive weapon statistically.

This week, the Falcons get back on track. Taylor Heineke should give them good field position at least twice on bad plays, and the Falcons will get Ryan back in the endzone.
