3. Saints make Saquon Barkley a non-factor

Saquon Barkley made his return from a torn ACL suffered last year, with the Giants hoping that he can provide a spark in the offense. So far, that has not been the case, due to the run blocking on the offensive line and the bland play-calling of offensive coordinator Jason Garrett.

Through the first three weeks of the season, Barkley has accumulated 134 rushing yards and one touchdown on 39 carries. 41 yards came on one run.

As it turns out, defending against the run is New Orleans’ specialty. The Saints only allowed an average of 60.3 rushing yards per game. They limited Aaron Jones of the Packers to nine yards on five carries, Christian McCaffrey to 72 yards on 24 attempts and Damien Harris of the Patriots to 14 yards on six carries.

That should spell bad news for Barkley and the Giants. You can expect the former second-overall pick to be a non-factor in the Big Easy on Sunday.
