1. Saints defense limits Giants to under 300 yards of offense

Building off of the Barkley page written earlier, the Giants offense is in for a rude awakening entering Week 4. During their game against the Falcons this past Sunday, the Giants lost two wide receivers in Darius Slayton and Sterling Shepard to hamstring injuries. That in turn forced the Giants to target the likes of C.J.Board and Collin Johnson, which is giving Giants fans flashbacks to their lack of depth at the wide receiver position in years past.

It is truly a shame that the Giants offense is sputtering out of control, considering Daniel Jones is actually playing well this year. He can make plays in the air and on his feet and has yet to record an interception this year. Now, he has to face a Saints defense that has been brutal for opposing quarterbacks.

Just last week, the Saints picked off Patriots rookie signal caller Mac Jones three times this past Sunday. In the season-opener, New Orleans’ secondary limited reigning NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers to 133 passing yards and forced him to the bench!

Overall, the Saints defense has allowed an average of 304.0 total yards of offense per game, which is the sixth-fewest in the league, per ESPN.

Given the injuries and unknown Week 4 statuses of Slayton and Shepard, and the Saints’ ability to stop the run, it is entirely possible that the Giants will not able to crack 300 yards of total offense on Sunday.
