2. Green Bay Packers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

After being undressed by the Saints in Week 1, the Packers defense has allowed 45 points over their last two games, mostly in bunches. In Week 3, they sacked 49ers’ quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo four times with two takeaways. In Week 4, the matchup can’t get much better.

To put it mildly, Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger looks like he’s done. The GIFS, memes and advance stat graphics are not kind. Against improved but still not great defenses the last two weeks (Raiders and Bengals, Pittsburgh has scored a total of 27 points. Roethlisberger is also banged up (left pectoral, etc.), and he may be without one or both of wide receivers Diontae Johnson (knee) and JuJu Smith-Schuster (ribs) on Sunday.

The Packers’ defense has not been flawless this year. But the Steelers’ offense will not give them much trouble this week.

1. Tennessee Titans at New York Jets

Somewhere on this list every week, as long as it’s applicable, the defense who’s going against the New York Jets is going to be an easy pick. The Tennessee Titans fit the bill for Week 4.

The Titans have multiple sacks in all three of their games this season. More interceptions might be nice, but Jets’ rookie quarterback Zach Wilson (six interceptions over the last two games) is likely to oblige on Sunday. Wilson has also been sacked 15 times overall this season, and if he was less mobile it’d be more. The Jets have scored six and zero points in their last two games.

The likelihood of multiple sacks and takeways. A low point total allowed. It doesn’t get much easier than the Titans for the No. 1 spot on the Week 4 D/ST sleepers list.
