The college football rankings won’t be changing at the top any time soon with Alabama dominating, but the rest of the Top 10 should get shaken up.

Will anyone be able to unseat Alabama at No. 1 in the college football rankings?

Ole Miss definitely wasn’t able to pull it off.

The Crimson Tide demolished the Running Rebels to keep their stranglehold at the top of the college football pecking order.

Unlike Alabama, Notre Dame looked shaky all season and it finally came back to bite them. Cincinnati will benefit from the Irish’s tumble, but how much?

College football rankings: Projected Top 10 after Week 5

  1. Alabama
  2. Georgia
  3. Oregon
  4. Penn State
  5. Iowa
  6. Cincinnati
  7. Oklahoma
  8. Florida
  9. Ohio State
  10. BYU

Georgia looks incredibly impressive after their unraveling of Arkansas. They’ll have to wait to make a run at No. 1 but they look as close to a challenger for Alabama as there is.

Oregon isn’t having the easiest time in the Pac-12 after their road victory over Ohio State. However, they should get a win over Stanford to maintain their place.

Iowa blasted Maryland while Penn State should get by Indiana without an issue. They’ll prevent Cincinnati from jumping up further thanks to their season-defining win over Notre Dame.

Oklahoma is in danger of being jumped after another shaky performance against Kansas State.

Losses for Arkansas, Notre Dame and Ole Miss will open the door for Ohio State and BYU to march into the Top 10.
