2. Fields drops a beautiful pass to Mooney down the sidelines

That’s right, we have another play that saw Fields display his unreal chemistry with Mooney.

The Bears made a statement on their first drive of the second half after the Lions went three-and-out after kickoff. Fields made his way into Detroit’s territory after a huge 28-yard pass to star receiver Allen Robinson. But facing a second-and-nine on Detroit’s 36-yard line, Fields saw Mooney streak down the right sidelines past Lions cornerback Bobby Priceand dropped a beautiful pass to the wideout.

Sure enough, Mooney was money.

With the Bears set up at the four-yard line, Fields handed the ball off to Damien Williams on the next play, who ran it into the end zone to extend their lead to 21-0.

1. Clutch pass to Allen Robinson in third quarter

After the Lions finally got on the scoreboard in the third quarter courtesy of a four-yard touchdown reception by wideout Kalif Raymond to cut the deficit to 21-7. The Bears would respond on the very next drive, thanks to one play in particular.

Following a 24-yard run by Montgomery, Fields attacked the Lions through the air on first-and-10 with a little over two minutes remaining in the third quarter. Fields found Robinson running towards the right sideline with defensive backs Will Harris and Amani Oruwariye surrounding him. The rookie would find a way to get the ball into Robinson’s hands on a tremendous 27-yard pass.

This play set up Chicago in the red zone, and extended their lead to 24-7 after a 33-yard field goal by Cairo Santos.
