Wide Receivers

D.J. Moore: Carolina Panthers vs. Philadelphia Eagles ($7,900)

Missed out on drafting D.J. Moore in your fantasy league?

That’s why FanDuel is here: you can finally make money on all the fantastic picks you missed out on, week by week.

And Moore is proving to be one of them. Sam Darnold’s favorite target has been a key part of the Panthers’ surprising 3-0 run until an eventual stop by the Dallas Cowboys. Even in the Cowboys loss, Carolina fought to keep up, feeding Moore eight catches for 113 yards and two touchdowns.

It was a big day for Moore, but Week 5 will still have the top Carolina wide receiver catching something. His targets haven’t dipped below eight all season, and in his last two games, he’s gotten 12. Philadelphia doesn’t have the secondary to tamp down his production, making Moore a lock for Week 5.

Diontae Johnson: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Denver Broncos ($7,000)

Diontae Johnson is more a pick by default: if not Johnson, then who?

Ben Roethlisberger doesn’t have anyone else to throw to, making Johnson the major beneficiary in this offense. After recovering from a Week 2 injury, Johnson erupted in Week 4 by leading Steelers receivers in targets with 13, catching nine of them for 92 yards.

Johnson’s 45-yard touchdown flashed his brilliance, making the case that he needs to be rostered in Week 5. He’s guaranteed to get volume, and although he’s facing a secondary featuring safety Justin Simmons, Johnson is guaranteed to get passes during the Week 5 contest.

Antonio Brown: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Miami Dolphins ($6,500)

Another matchup-dependent pick, Antonio Brown is primed for a big performance in Week 5 against the Dolphins.

The Tom Brady-Antonio Brown connection was on full display in Week 4 when Brady tried to force two touchdown passes to Brown in a Patriots revenge game. Neither succeeded, but the Patriots have a good secondary — meanwhile, the Dolphins have a much lower-rated one.

Brown was out Week 3, and was hardly targeted in Week 2, but he is still an important part of this offense: one that will ideally benefit in Week 5 against his hometown team.
