2. Quandre Diggs lands another interception

Quandre Diggs has been in the NFL since 2015, but the seventh-year free safety only got his proper accolades in 2020.

After four years with the Lions, Diggs was traded to the Seahawks in 2019, where he recorded two interceptions in one night. The victim? Jared Goff with the Los Angeles Rams.

Diggs was an underrated part of what made this defense strong in 2020, but his stellar performance was noticed by fellow NFL players. Diggs ranked No. 77 in the NFL 100 before the 2021 season, just one spot behind Lockett. One of his interceptions last season was against the Rams in Week 15.

Recording five total interceptions last season, Diggs finally got his first of 2021 in Week 4.

Against the 49ers, Diggs enacted a Madden-esque “user lurk” by tricking Jimmy Garoppolo to play right into his hands.

A ballhawk who can read and undercut routes perfectly, Diggs is a brilliant free safety reading the field for this Seahawks defense. Getting back-to-back interceptions in two weeks isn’t impossible for the man who got two in the same night, and if Diggs does land another, it would put fortune in the Seahawks’ favor.

Matthew Stafford is no Goff — he’s only thrown two picks so far this season — but if anyone on the Seahawks can intercept him, it’s Diggs.
