4. Minnesota will rush for 150 yards total

The Vikings are pretty bad when it comes to run defense, but thankfully so is Detroit. Minnesota sits at No. 25 for rushing yards allowed, and the Lions are just one spot above them at No. 24 with an average of 132.8 yards allowed per game.

Everyone knows Zimmer likes to run, and he’s going to run all over the Detroit defense. Dalvin Cook may not be 100 percent up to speed yet, but he’ll take most of the carries in this one for some of his best yardage this season.

For the second punch, Alexander Mattison proved his worth in Cook’s absence against the Seahawks when he put up 112 yards on 26 carries. Mattison will continue to get carries to support Cook and could even have a few breakout runs if Zimmer keeps giving him the ball throughout the game.

Even Ameer Abdullah has potential to make an impact on the ground this week, so expect him to be in the mix and help push Minnesota past 150 total rushing yards.
