1. Nick Chubb gets back-to-back 100-yard games on the ground for Browns

So far this season, Nick Chubb has rushed for at least 83 yards in all four games. Last week saw him go over the century mark for the first time this season. While it helped that he had 21 carries, the Browns will need another bell-cow back type of performance out of him if they want to beat the Chargers at SoFi. Since it is what is required, look for Chubb to rush for over 100 yards again.

Because he only got to 100 yards last week vs. the Vikings, expect Chubb to eclipse his season-high total with 100-plus yards on the ground. While Hunt will “vulture” a pair of touchdowns for him with his great day, Chubb will find pay dirt once on the ground. He will be the best player on the field for Cleveland in the Browns’ Week 5 road date at the 3-1 Chargers. This is a good thing.

Overall, the combination of clutch kicking from McLaughlin, the elite running back tandem and forcing timely turnovers will give the Browns a chance to keep the winning streak alive vs. the Chargers. Not saying they are going to win, but this one will be decided by a single score in the final seconds of the ball game. If the Browns have the ball last, maybe they do improve to 4-1?

After this tough road game, there will be no doubt about how battle-tested this Browns team is.
