1. Max Scherzer

Oh, how sweet would this be? While Max Scherzer may be focused on trying to win the World Series with the Los Angeles Dodgers this postseason, he’ll be looking for a new home once the 2021 campaign is officially wrapped up.

Everyone will try to add Scherzer, as he’s no doubt one of the best arms in the bigs. He’s also going to be pretty damn expensive, but no one can question he’d be worth every penny. He’s the kind of pitcher who can completely turn things around for an organization.

In the case of St. Louis, Scherzer could truly help send things over the top for them. We’ve seen the kind of an impact he’s been able to make for Los Angeles this year since the trade deadline. The man is a freak of nature.

St. Louis would send a massive statement if they were able to sign him. Meanwhile for Scherzer, St. Louis is also one sexy option to consider. The club has a rich history and they’re loaded with star power. This would be a dream move for the Cardinals.
