3 bold predictions for Chiefs against Bills
2. Stefon Diggs will have a huge game
What’s gone wrong for the Chiefs defense this year? You could point to many things, but the secondary struggling has been one of the most visible issues.
Stefon Diggs is coming off his most productive outing of the season so far with 114 yards against the Texans. As for Kansas City, they’ve been eaten up by No. 1 receivers this season.
DeVonta Smith of the Eagles and Mike Williams of the Chargers each came away with 122 yards in their matchup with the Chiefs. Marqise “Hollywood” Brown had 113 for the Ravens.
If the trend holds, this should be a 100-yard game for Diggs. Last season, he didn’t manage that in either of the two losses. He should look forward to facing a far more vulnerable defense now.
The hope for Kansas City comes with Charvarius Ward practicing this week after missing the last two games with a quad injury. It’ll help to have him back in the lineup but he’s no magic bullet especially in his first game back.
