Finding sleepers at any position in fantasy football is a win, but especially at a position as deep as wide receiver, where there are about twice as many players to choose from compared to the running back position.

Week 5 of fantasy football is here, and two things are true: players get injured, and players underperform. If your wideouts are either one of these things, or you’re just looking for a change of pace, let’s take a look at some other options at receiver.

10 wide receiver sleepers to start in fantasy football: Week 5

10. Randall Cobb, Green Bay Packers

Randall Cobb finally broke out onto the scene in his second stint with the Packers, catching five-of-six targets for 59 yards and two touchdowns. I understand the skepticism, as Cobb nearly doubled his previous 2021 production, but it’s still promising.

When Aaron Rodgers likes a guy, he seems to stick to him and feed him anytime he can. With guys such as Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling earning Rodgers’ trust over the years, Cobb has as well — and this is obvious because he demanded the Packers trade for him.

Cobb is a sneaky flex play against the Cincinnati Bengals and a perfect cheap DFS flier.

9. Kalif Raymond, Detroit Lions

Should we be paying more attention to Kalif Raymond in fantasy football? He leads all Lions’ receivers in targets, catches, and yards. Obviously, tight end T.J. Hockenson dominates a lot of the passing game work, but someone has to catch the ball from Jared Goff.

Raymond has 16 targets and two touchdowns in the last two weeks, so he’ll make for an interesting start and daily fantasy play in a matchup with a mediocre Minnesota defense.
