4. Trevon Diggs won’t get an interception

To say that Diggs’ 2021 season is off to a phenomenal start would be a massive understatement. He may have struggled some during his rookie campaign, but his sophomore season has started off with six interceptions in his team’s first five games.

In fact, Diggs has gotten at least one pick in every game this season. That streak is going to end against New England on Sunday. The Patriots’ offense will be keenly aware of Diggs’ ball-hawking skills and will hesitate to even throw the ball in his direction as a result.

The fact that New England’s coaching staff is still going out of its way to protect rookie Mac Jones will also play a role in keeping the ball away from Diggs. The Patriots aren’t going to push the ball downfield very often. When they do, they’ll try to pick on a different Dallas defender.

Diggs is still going to have a big impact on this game, but his interception streak is going to end. It was fun while it lasted for the former Alabama star, but Belichick isn’t going to allow him to turn this game by forcing another turnover.
