4. Baker Mayfield will throw for more yards than former teammate Kyler Murray

One of the cool moments we cannot wait to see on Sunday afternoon is a pair of former Oklahoma teammates duking it out at the professional level. Heisman Trophy winners Baker Mayfield and Kyle Murray will clash on Sunday to the splendor of many in Norman. While Murray has been an MVP candidate throughout this season, it will be Mayfield who throws for more yards on Sunday.

No, we are not going to see a combined 700 yards passing from this duo. While one or both could eclipse the 300-yard passing threshold, neither are going to be pushing towards 400 yards through the air on the afternoon. That serves Mayfield in his quest to beat his former Oklahoma backup in a high-stakes, head-to-head matchup. Mayfield will have 50 more yards than Murray.

As for the pure yardage totals, look for Mayfield to have somewhere around 325 through the air, while Murray will come in somewhere around 275 yards passing for the visiting Cardinals. Murray and the Cardinals offense will still amass yardage, but he might be getting more work with his legs trying to evade a strong Cleveland pass rush. Through the air, Mayfield will be coming out on top.

Murray could have more all-purpose yards, but Mayfield beats him out with his passing numbers.
