5 bold predictions for Browns against Cardinals
By John Buhler
3. Nick Chubb makes it three games in a row with over 100 yards rushing
Despite falling on the road to the Chargers last week, Nick Chubb was able to keep the streak alive. He made it back-to-back 100-yard games for him on the ground. Even though Arizona is among the very best teams in the league this season, Chubb will get enough touches to make it three games in a row of breaking the century mark. So how many carries will he need to have to get it?
Because Cleveland will refrain from slinging the ball all over the gridiron a ton in this game, at least initially, Chubb will be getting over 20 carries on the afternoon. That means he will need to average somewhere close to five yards per carry. This could get a little dicey for him, but a big run late in the game will ensure that he will go over the 100-yard rushing threshold for a third time.
As far as how many rushing yards will Chubb have in this game, it is not going to be well over 100, but enough to where he is not going back under it with a negative run later in the game. Look for him to have somewhere around 115 yards on the ground. While Kareem Hunt may vulture a pair of touchdowns from him, Chubb will lead all running backs in rushing in this massive ballgame.
Chubb will be a perpetual menace for the Cardinals defense all afternoon trying to stop him.
