2. Kyler Murray will not turn the Browns into a Big 12 pillow fight defense

While the officials certainly played their part in the Browns losing on the road to the Chargers last week, the Cleveland defense could not stop anyone. Justin Herbert carved them up like their were Big 12 cannon fodder. Though Murray used to do that back in the day, he is not going to have as much success slinging the pigskin as Herbert did against the Browns defense last Sunday.

Again, Murray will get his yards on the ground because that is a vibrant part of his game. However, a revamped defensive game plan from the Browns defense will keep him under 300 yards passing on the afternoon. From an all-purpose standpoint, yes, he is going to be over 300 on the afternoon, but limiting the Cardinals’ running game otherwise will stifle the offense just a tad.

Most importantly, the Browns are not going to the be the equivalent of air defensively. They will have a few series here and there where they will force the Cardinals to punt the football. In short, the Browns are not going to approach having a 50 burger hung on them in their own building in front of their own fans. Expect for Cleveland to put forth a better defensive effort vs. Arizona.

The Browns defense will be more likely to allow 20 points scored on them than over 40 again.
