10 QB sleepers to target for fantasy football NFL 2021 Week 6
No. 8: Derek Carr at Denver
It was a crazy week in Raiders country this week, as we saw head coach Jon Gruden resign due to a string of downright disturbing emails. Now, the team has to head to Denver to take on a division rival in the Broncos, one who is coming off a bad loss at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers last week.
In that game, Big Ben threw for two scores, and when it comes to Derek Carr, he could find even easier sledding against this tough defense. Las Vegas will be looking to make a statement, and now that Gruden is not pounding the ball so much, it should open up some deep shots for Carr, and he has plenty of options in that department.
No. 7: Davis Mills at Indianapolis
One of the bigger shocks of the Week 5 slate came from a team that lost, as the Houston Texans gave the New England Patriots all they could take. The big reason for that was the play of Davis Mills, a player making his third NFL start, and one that had his best game against a defensive mastermind in Bill Belichick.
On Sunday, Mills goes up against the Indianapolis Colts in an AFC South battle, and he should be able to build on his solid start from last week. Could Mills be the answer for Houston going forward? That is to be seen, but he showed this past weekend that he has the talent to put together a solid fantasy day.
