21. Trevor Lawrence

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 draft has started his professional career with five consecutive losses, but he’s still flashed signs of greatness for the Jaguars. His high ceiling is the reason why he lands on this list despite his lack of accomplishments to date.

It’s important to remember that Lawrence isn’t blessed with a high-quality supporting cast in Jacksonville. It’s going to take time for him to gel with his teammates. Jaguars fans aren’t going to see Lawrence’s best football for another couple of seasons.

What he already possesses is an outstanding combination of elite accuracy and arm strength. He makes every throw in the playbook look easy when he’s given a clean pocket to work from. That isn’t a luxury he’s enjoyed all that often in his brief professional career.

Any Jaguars fans that are panicking over Lawrence’s early-season struggles need to take a deep breath. He’s still an elite talent at the game’s most important position. Patience will be required for Lawrence to develop into a star for the Jags.
