Marquez Callaway cracks 100-yards receiving, logs another touchdown against Seattle’s secondary

Prior to the bye week, Saints fans got to witness a breakout performance by wide receiver Marquez Callaway. There were signs of Callaway being a true difference maker in the passing game in the preseason, and he showed it at the expense of the Football Team.

Callaway was targeted eight times by quarterback Jameis Winston, where he hauled in four passes for 85 yards and two touchdowns. One of those scoring catches came on a Hail Mary pass ahead of halftime, in which Callaway leapt over all of Washington’s defenders.

This was the first two-touchdown performance by Callaway, and he is in a great position to have a huge game against the Seahawks. Seattle has allowed 306.2 average receiving yards per game, the fourth-highest in the NFL. Not only that, but the opposition has scored 10 receiving touchdowns through six games.

Callaway is going to have another big day for the Saints, where he will crack 100 yards and score a touchdown against the Seahawks.
