14. Wake Forest Demon Deacons

It will be interesting to see how Wake Forest is treated in the rankings this week. It allowed 56 points to Army, but it also scored 70 of its own. The Demon Deacons control their own destiny in the ACC.

If they can reach Charlotte, this could be an Orange Bowl-type season for the program. A big battle with NC State is still in the distance. The program also can’t overlook opponents such as UNC and Clemson either.

13. Oklahoma State Cowboys

There will be no battle of undefeated teams when Oklahoma State takes on Oklahoma later this season. Instead, the Cowboys fell on the road against Iowa State. It’s not an easy place to play and Oklahoma State learned that the hard way in a close loss.

The Cowboys won’t drop too far but will land outside the top 10. Up next is a home game against Kansas. While the Sooners struggled with the Jayhawks, the Cowboys should make that their get-right game.
