10. Ole Miss Rebels

On a day where they retired Eli Manning’s jersey, the Rebels smacked down the LSU Tigers at home. Ole Miss deserves its flowers and to be a top 10 football team after this week. The Rebels outside of their loss to Alabama, have been pure excitement in the college football scene this year.

They got a big game coming up on the road against Auburn. It will be another chance for the Rebels to try and cement themselves in the SEC West race as they hope for the Crimson Tide to fall again.

9. Iowa Hawkeyes

A week after a completely disappointing loss to Purdue, the Hawkeyes will probably jump back into the top 10 thanks to Penn State and Oklahoma State falling. It’s easy to slot them ahead of the Nittany Lions given the head-to-head win.

The Hawkeyes will have to take care of Minnesota and Wisconsin to win the Big Ten West. Right now, it’s hard to take anything for granted after a bad week against Purdue. Iowa plays the Badgers on the road next and that game should tell us if they are going to be playing in Indianapolis.
