3 defensive coordinators replacements for Steve Spagnuolo

Gus Bradley has a big opportunity ahead of him with the 2021 Las Vegas Raiders
Besides being the Chiefs’ biggest rival, there is another reason for Kansas City to keep close tabs on the Las Vegas Raiders. Despite the Jon Gruden email scandal, the Silver and Black aren’t fading to black just yet. They are 4-2 with a shot at getting to 5-2 if they beat the Philadelphia Eagles at home on Sunday. A big reason for their turnaround has been defensive coordinator Gus Bradley.
The failed former Jacksonville Jaguars head coach cut his teeth as a Pete Carroll disciple in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to arriving in Nevada, he was the former defensive coordinator under Anthony Lynn on the Los Angeles Chargers. He specializes in coverage concepts and disguising blitz packages from the defensive backfield. The Chiefs could really use a coach like him in 2022.
Again, this is all contingent on what direction Raiders owner Mark Davis wants to do to address the elephant in the room. Heck, it would not be the most shocking thing in the world if he removed the interim tag on special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia and named him the full-time head coach. It would be so very Raiders, but doing so would prevent Bradley from being able to leave.
If the Chiefs lose Eric Bieniemy this offseason as well, Reid may want to add a former head coach.
