Brian Flores

For the Dolphins, Sunday began with a report from CBS Sports about how players in Miami don’t trust head coach Brian Flores. No trust will have been built up after the team went on to suffer their sixth loss in a row to the Atlanta Falcons.

Flores is in serious trouble. His team is 1-6. His defense is in shambles. His quarterback situation is uncertain.

Even the prospect of trading for Deshaun Watson doesn’t look like it’ll be the saving grace Flores needs it to be. After all, it was the defense that failed to seal the deal against Atlanta, allowing the Falcons to move into field goal range for the win. That one is on Flores.

This is Year 3 for Flores and the team appears to have taken a significant step back. Patience has got to be wearing very thin.
