The Chiefs’ offense will rebound

New York’s defense has been almost as poor as the Chiefs’ this season. They’re giving up 25.7 points per game this year, a number helped greatly by their meeting with the Panthers this past week. They allowed just three points, bringing their average down from 29.5 allowed per game.

The worry might be that the Giants are coming off their best game of the season. However, until they prove it against other opposition, we can assume the performance versus Carolina was more a reflection of the Panthers’ problems than NY turning the corner defensively.

It’ll help KC going against a defense less capable of making them one-dimensional. The Titans shut down the Chiefs’ rushing attack. The Giants allow an average of 125.6 rushing yards per game, ranking in the bottom 10 in the NFL.

Look for Darrel Williams to set the tone this week with far more opportunities and production since Andy Reid will surely want to take a load off Patrick Mahomes.
