Kansas City has been the most disappointing team in the league this season so they could see a splash or two in the trade market.

They have two of the most dangerous weapons in the game in Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. However, it’s been plainly clear the receiving corps beyond those two leaves something to be decided. The combination of Mecole Hardman, Byron Pringle and Demarcus Robinson hasn’t provided a clear No. 2 wide receiver target for Patrick Mahomes to take advantage of. The addition of Josh Gordon hasn’t made the difference either.

Teams already have a hard enough time slowing down Hill and Kelce. Having a true No. 2 WR would give the Chiefs exactly what they need to make opposing defenses fear them once more.

That’s where Thomas comes in. A trade to Kansas City would give him a fresh start receiving passes from an elite NFL quarterback on a team with Super Bowl aspirations.
