The subject of getting Rodgers more receiver help has occupied many a draft party. Yet the Packers have repeatedly refused to go big on a No. 2 receiver, whether through the draft, free agency or trade.

Now the stakes are extra high because Rodgers could leave the franchise after the season if he doesn’t see a path to winning Super Bowls in Green Bay. The best way to show the quarterback they’re serious about supporting him would be to go out and give him another elite pass catcher.

If you think Rodgers is great with Adams alone, he could be unstoppable with Thomas also on the field in green and gold. Whatever the cost, the move would be worth it.
