5. Alex Collins, Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks are just sputtering towards the abyss. Russell Wilson and Chris Carson are both expected to miss this game. The offense is trying to run through Geno Smith and DK Metcalf, but it’s only working for big plays. The Seahawks need to run the ball to have any success. Alex Collins is the guy for now.

The Seahawks are taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars team that has been one of the worst in the NFL so far this season. Despite this, they only allow 25 points per game to running backs. It’s not good, but it’s also not one of the worst in the league. They have allowed eight rushing touchdowns this season, and it should be easy for Collins to hit paydirt.

4. Darrel Williams, Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs are beyond scrutinized this week after a terrible performance against the Tennessee Titans last weekend. Patrick Mahomes was awful, and the Chiefs scored three points on offense. This is supposed to be the best offense in the NFL, but they just had an awful performance. It’s part of a bigger problem with the Chiefs offense. Andy Reid needs to get a handle on this, and he can do that by running the ball more.

Taking the ball out of Patrick Mahomes’ hands sounds like the opposite of the right move in Kansas City, but it’s time to gain a little confidence. They are facing the New York Giants who allow almost 27 fantasy points per game to running backs. Darrel Williams is the starter this week, and the Chiefs should score a ton of points against an overmatched Giants team. They have every motivation to score 50 points this week, and Williams should get plenty of opportunities.
